Job Overview :

We are seeking an experienced SAP Test Engineer with 6-10 years of dedicated experience in SAP testing. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of various SAP modules and a proven track record of designing, executing, and managing test activities across different phases of the software development lifecycle. You'll play a crucial role in ensuring the quality, functionality, and performance of our SAP solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

Test Strategy & Planning :

- Collaborate with functional and technical teams to understand business requirements and translate them into comprehensive test strategies and plans.

- Define test scope, objectives, and deliverables for various SAP projects and enhancements.

Test Case Design & Development :

- Design, develop, and maintain detailed test cases, test scripts, and test data for various SAP modules (e.g., SD, MM, FI/CO, PP, QM, HR, CRM, S/4HANA).

- Ensure traceability of test cases to business requirements and functional specifications.

Test Execution & Reporting :

- Execute functional, integration, regression, performance, and user acceptance tests (UAT) within SAP environments.

- Document test results, identify defects, and report findings using test management tools (e.g., HP ALM/Quality Center, Jira).

- Monitor defect resolution and retest fixes to ensure quality.

Automation & Tooling (Optional, but highly preferred) :

- Contribute to or lead the development of automated test scripts for SAP using tools like SAP CBTA, Worksoft Certify, Tricentis Tosca, or other relevant automation frameworks.

- Maintain and enhance existing automation suites.

Collaboration & Communication :

- Work closely with SAP functional consultants, developers, business users, and project managers throughout the testing lifecycle.

- Participate in review meetings, provide clear status updates, and escalate risks or issues as appropriate.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 6-10 years of dedicated experience in SAP testing.

- Strong understanding of SAP modules and business processes (e.g., Sales & Distribution (SD), Materials Management (MM), Financial Accounting (FI), Controlling (CO), Production Planning (PP), Quality Management (QM), Human Resources (HR)).

- Hands-on experience with SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA testing.

- Proficiency in designing and executing various types of SAP tests, including functional, integration, regression, and UAT.

- Experience with test management tools (e.g., HP ALM/Quality Center, Jira).

- Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).

- Ability to analyze complex business processes and translate them into effective test scenarios.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and debug issues within SAP.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with SAP testing automation tools (SAP CBTA, Worksoft Certify, Tricentis Tosca).

- Knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies.

- SAP certifications in relevant modules or testing.

- Experience with performance testing tools for SAP environments.
