Nagarro - Staff Engineer - Java

Role Overview :

We are looking for a Senior Java Engineer with Generative AI expertise to design and build AI-powered enterprise applications using Spring Boot 3.x and Spring AI.

You will work on LLM integrations, RAG architectures, vector databases, and scalable microservices deployed in production environments.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop AI-powered features using Spring AI (Chat Client, Embedding Client, Vector Store abstractions).

- Implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) for secure enterprise data access.

- Integrate LLMs such as OpenAI, Azure AI, and Anthropic.

- Manage vector stores (Pinecone, Weaviate, pgvector) for semantic search and document retrieval.

- Build robust, scalable RESTful APIs using Spring Boot 3.x.

- Work with SQL Server and support NoSQL integrations.

- Deploy microservices using Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.

- Collaborate with product teams on prompt refinement and AI workflows.

Requirements :

- 6+ years of Java experience (Java 17+ preferred).

- Strong expertise in Spring Boot 3.x, Spring Data, and Spring Security.

- Hands-on experience with Spring AI and LLM concepts (tokens, temperature, model behavior).

- Experience implementing RAG pipelines and embedding workflows.

- Strong understanding of microservices architecture and REST APIs.

- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and modern DevOps practices.
