Role Overview :

The Dynamics 365 Environment Manager is responsible for the governance, administration, availability, security, and lifecycle management of Microsoft Dynamics 365 environments across development, testing, user acceptance testing, training, staging, and production.

The role ensures that environments are properly configured, secured, synchronized, monitored, and supported throughout the Dynamics 365 implementation and ongoing operations lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities :

- Own and manage the Dynamics 365 environment strategy across the organization.

- Maintain an accurate inventory of all Dynamics 365 and Power Platform environments.

- Define and enforce environment naming conventions, ownership models, access standards, and usage policies.

- Manage environment provisioning, configuration, upgrades, refreshes, cloning, suspension, and retirement.

- Manage the promotion of Dynamics 365 solutions and customizations across environments.

- Plan and execute environment refreshes and database copies in accordance with organizational policies.

- Implement least-privilege access across Dynamics 365 and Power Platform environments.

- Monitor environment availability, performance, capacity, system health, and integration status.

- Establish and maintain automated deployment and environment management processes.

- Maintain environment architecture diagrams, configuration records, deployment procedures, and support runbooks.

Required Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

- Relevant experience managing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement environments.

- Practical experience with Microsoft Power Platform administration and governance.

- Experience managing multiple Dynamics 365 environments across development, test, UAT, and production.

- Strong understanding of Dynamics 365 solutions, managed and unmanaged customizations, and solution dependencies.
