Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant with 7+ years of experience in Microsoft Dynamics Business Central, NAV, and/or GP. The consultant will lead functional activities across Finance, Supply Chain, Warehouse, Manufacturing, and Retail processes. The role involves requirement gathering, workshops, solution design, configuration, migration planning, testing, user training, and go-live support.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead functional activities across end-to-end Business Central implementations, from discovery through go-live.

- Conduct client workshops and gather business requirements.

- Configure Business Central based on approved requirements.

- Work across Finance, Supply Chain, Inventory, Warehouse, Manufacturing, Purchasing, and Sales modules.

- Identify functional gaps and work with technical consultants on suitable solutions.

- Support GP-to-BC and NAV-to-BC migrations, including requirements, mapping, validation, testing, and cutover.

- Understand GP-to-NAV migration and staged upgrade approaches.

- Lead functional activities for LS Central, including POS, item hierarchy, back-office retail, loyalty, replenishment, and store operations.

- Work with integration teams on Business Central integrations with Shopify, Adobe Commerce/Magento, and BigCommerce.

- Prepare and execute functional test scripts, SIT, UAT, and regression testing.

- Prepare FRDs, configuration workbooks, process documents, training materials, test scripts, and cutover plans.

- Conduct end-user training and support business users during implementation and go-live.

- Support AMS clients by analyzing and resolving functional issues.

- Participate in RFPs, solution scoping, effort estimation, SOW preparation, and risk identification.

- Work closely with technical consultants, developers, project managers, and client stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 7+ years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central, NAV, and/or GP.

- Experience in at least 2 full-cycle Business Central implementations.

- Strong hands-on experience in Business Central functional configuration.

- Strong experience in one or more areas : Finance, Supply Chain, Warehouse, Manufacturing.

- Hands-on experience with GP-to-BC or NAV-to-BC migration.

- Good understanding of GP-to-NAV migration and upgrade paths.

- Strong requirements-gathering and business-process-mapping skills.

- Strong FRD, configuration workbook, and SOW preparation skills.

- Excellent client-facing communication and workshop facilitation skills.

- Ability to work effectively with both business and technical teams.

Mandatory Certification :

Microsoft MB-820 certification is mandatory. Candidates without the MB-820 certification may not be considered.

Good to Have :

- Strong LS Central experience covering POS, back-office retail, loyalty, and replenishment.

- Experience with Shopify, Adobe Commerce/Magento, and BigCommerce integrations.

- Experience with Power BI / Power BI Embedded in Business Central.

- Consulting or outsourced delivery experience.

- International client experience.

- Experience in pre-sales, RFP responses, estimation, and solution scoping.
