Your canvas : Digital Products/Websites/Apps
Your duties :
Interaction & Motion Design :
- Design functional, user-focused motion for web and mobile.
- Translate UX flows into polished interaction animations.
- Define motion systems (timing, easing, transitions) aligned with design systems.
- Use motion to communicate hierarchy, feedback, and spatial relationships.
Motion ? Development Handoff :
- Create clear motion specs (easing, duration, properties)
- Deliver developer-ready outputs (Lottie, CSS, JSON, platform specs)
- Collaborate with developers to ensure accurate implementation.
- Identify and resolve gaps between design and production.
- Build scalable handoff documentation and workflows.
Prototyping & Systems Thinking :
- Develop high-fidelity prototypes to test interactions.
- Contribute to motion guidelines within the design system.
- Design reusable, modular motion patterns.
Documentation and Showcase :
Create videos for BOMBAYDCs case studies.
You should know :
- UI/UX Motion prototyping tools (Figma or similar)
- After Effects
- Illustrator
- Rive
- Lottie
- Premiere Pro or any similar Video editing softwares
Bonus :
- Blender/Spline 3d and other similar 3D tools for the web
- Familiarity with AI tools for motion exploration, automation, and documentation.
- Openness to adopting new tools and evolving workflows.
