Role Overview :

As a Mobile QA Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts for mobile applications on both Android and iOS platforms. You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers to ensure the delivery of high-quality mobile applications. Your primary focus will be on building and maintaining a robust automation framework, identifying and reporting defects, and contributing to the overall improvement of the mobile development process. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on the user experience and success of our mobile products.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and develop comprehensive automation test strategies and test plans for mobile applications, ensuring complete test coverage.

- Create and maintain automated test scripts using Appium, Java, and Selenium for both Android and iOS platforms, reducing manual testing efforts.

- Execute automated test suites, analyze test results, and report defects accurately and efficiently, improving the speed of the development cycle.

- Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and provide feedback on design and usability, ensuring high-quality product delivery.

- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, enabling continuous integration and delivery of mobile applications.

- Perform API testing using tools like Postman or Rest-Assured to validate backend functionality and data integrity, ensuring seamless application performance.

- Contribute to the improvement of the automation framework and testing processes, enhancing the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the QA team.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated ability to design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for mobile applications using Appium, Java, and Selenium.

- Proven expertise in testing mobile applications on both Android and iOS platforms, including a deep understanding of mobile testing methodologies and tools.

- Strong understanding of API testing principles and experience using tools like Postman or Rest-Assured.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and report defects clearly and concisely.

- Ability to collaborate effectively with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers in an Agile environment.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
