Mobile Device Validation Engineer

Job Summary :

We are seeking a detail-oriented Mobile Device Validation Engineer with strong hands-on experience in iOS device testing, hardware validation, and connectivity testing. The ideal candidate should have experience in validating core device functionality, RF/telephony basics, and analyzing device logs using Apple debugging tools.This role involves end-to-end device validation including OS updates, feature releases, and connectivity performance across live networks.

Must-Have Skills :

- 2 to 6 years of experience in mobile device testing (preferably iOS)

Strong understanding of :

a. iOS architecture basics

b. Mobile hardware modules (Audio, Camera, Sensors, Display)

c. RF, LTE/5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and telephony fundamentals

Hands-on experience with :

a. Xcode & device console logs

b. Sysdiagnose log collection and analysis

c. Provisioning profiles & certificates

d. Wireless debugging and profiling tools

- Experience in OTA validation and firmware testing

- Exposure to live carrier network testing (VoLTE/5G/WiFi calling preferred)

- Understanding of SDLC/STLC and Agile methodologies

Good to Have :

- Experience in performance, stress, and thermal testing

- Exposure to automation (Python/Shell scripting is a plus)

- Experience with RF log tools or carrier validation

- Prior experience working with OEMs or device manufacturing companies

Roles and Responsibility :

- Perform end-to-end validation of iOS mobile devices

- Validate core functionality including connectivity, sensors, and telephony

- Capture and analyze logs using Xcode and sysdiagnose

- Conduct RF and network performance validation on live networks

- Identify, log, and track defects through closure

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including development and hardware teams

- Prepare detailed test reports and communicate risks effectively
