Role Summary

We are seeking a visionary Mobile Architect with over a decade of experience to lead our mobile engineering strategy and technological roadmap. In this high-impact leadership role, you will be responsible for designing scalable, resilient, and secure mobile architectures that serve millions of users.

You must possess a rare blend of deep native expertise in iOS (Swift) and Android (Kotlin), coupled with a mandatory proficiency in cross-platform frameworks like React Native or Flutter.

As a technical cornerstone, you will bridge the gap between business objectives and engineering execution, ensuring our mobile ecosystem remains at the cutting edge of performance, security, and developer velocity.

Responsibilities :

- Mobile Technology Roadmap: Define and evolve the long-term mobile strategy, ensuring alignment with broader business goals and anticipating future technological shifts.

- Scalable Architecture Design: Design and document resilient mobile architectures, choosing the right patterns (MVVM, Clean Architecture, Composable) to ensure maintainability and high performance.

- Development Standards & Quality: Establish and enforce high-quality coding standards, conducting architectural reviews to minimize technical debt and maximize code reusability across platforms.

- Security & Performance Oversight: Implement robust security protocols (biometrics, certificate pinning, encryption at rest) and monitor app performance metrics to ensure sub-second responsiveness.

- Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with Product, Backend, and Design teams to define integration contracts (REST/GraphQL) and lead the technical direction of the mobile engineering org.

- CI/CD & DevOps Excellence: Architect automated build, test, and deployment pipelines to streamline the release lifecycle across the App Store and Google Play.

- Mentorship & Coaching: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to senior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and architectural rigor.

- Emerging Technology Integration: Stay abreast of industry trends (e.g., KMP, Swift UI, Jetpack Compose) and evaluate their potential impact on the existing stack.

Technical Requirements :

- Dual-Platform Expertise: 10+ years of experience with deep native roots in iOS (Swift/Objective-C) and Android (Kotlin/Java).

- Cross-Platform Mastery: Proven professional experience architecting and deploying applications using React Native or Flutter is a must.

- Architectural Patterns: Thorough understanding of mobile-specific patterns and their trade-offs (e.g., Redux for mobile, MVI, or Reactive programming).

- Cloud & Backend Integration: Expert knowledge of integrating with AWS, GCP, or Azure, including sophisticated data synchronization, offline-first strategies, and RESTful/gRPC APIs.

- Lifecycle Management: Comprehensive understanding of the full mobile development lifecycle, from initial concept and UI/UX handoff to App Store optimization (ASO) and production support.

- Modern Tooling: Proficiency in using tools like Fastlane, Jenkins/GitHub Actions, and Firebase for crash reporting and remote configuration.
