Mobile Application Developer - TypeScript

About the Team :

This role provides an opportunity to be part of an experienced Mobile Engineering team building enterprise-grade Hybrid Mobile Applications.

Our mobile apps are developed using the Capacitor framework with Ionic and Web technologies, leveraging Cordova plugins for native capabilities.

The team follows modern CI/CD practices with strong focus on automation, quality, and scalability.

What You Will Be Doing :

- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-scale hybrid mobile applications using Ionic and Capacitor frameworks.

- Drive and influence architectural decisions for WebView-based hybrid mobile applications.

- Develop high-quality, reusable UI components using TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.

- Integrate, maintain, and optimize Cordova plugins for native device functionality.

- Work closely with native Android and iOS layers to bridge web and native functionality.

- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Bitrise for automated builds, testing, and releases.

- Define and drive mobile automation strategy including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex functional, performance, and stability issues.

- Conduct code reviews, enforce standards, and ensure best practices across the mobile codebase.

- Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership to the team.

- Collaborate with product, design, backend, and platform teams in an Agile environment.

What You Bring :

- 9 to 13 years of experience in mobile application development with strong focus on hybrid apps.

- Extensive hands-on experience with Ionic and Capacitor frameworks.

- Strong command of TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.

- Deep understanding of hybrid mobile architecture and WebView-based applications.

- Solid knowledge of native mobile development concepts (Android and/or iOS).

- Proven experience working with Cordova plugins and native integrations.

- Experience setting up and maintaining Bitrise CI/CD pipelines for mobile applications.

- Strong experience in mobile automation frameworks and testing strategies.

- Experience consuming RESTful APIs and integrating backend services.

- Proficiency in Git and modern development workflows.

Good to Have Skills :

- Experience with Angular, React and its integration with Ionic applications.

- Knowledge of mobile security best practices and performance optimization.

- Experience with Play Store and App Store release processes.

- Experience with Monitoring tool like New Relic

- Familiarity with monitoring, crash analytics, and logging tools.

- Strong understanding of Agile / Scrum methodologies.

Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree (BE/BTech) in Computer Science, IT, or related field OR equivalent experience.

- 9+ years of relevant hands-on experience in mobile or hybrid application development.
