Firebase Engineer

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Firebase Engineer to design, implement, and operationalize Firebase services for enterprise-scale mobile applications. The role involves building production-ready Firebase configurations, enabling messaging, analytics, remote configuration, crash reporting, security integration, and supporting Day-2 operations in a highly regulated enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Implement and configure Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) for mobile applications.

- Configure and manage Firebase Remote Config, Crashlytics, Analytics, and related Firebase services.

- Build production-ready Firebase configurations and reusable onboarding components.

- Create monitoring dashboards, alerts, and operational processes for production support.

- Develop runbooks, operational documentation, upgrade procedures, and knowledge transfer materials.

- Enable analytics, audience segmentation, and security configurations aligned with enterprise standards.

- Collaborate with engineering, security, DevOps, and support teams to ensure successful platform implementation.

- Provide production support and troubleshoot Firebase-related issues.

Required Skills:

- 4+ years of experience working with Firebase in enterprise environments.

- Strong hands-on experience with:

1. Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM)

2. Firebase Remote Config

3. Firebase Crashlytics

4. Firebase Analytics

5. Monitoring, alerting, and dashboard configuration

- Experience with production support, troubleshooting, and operational documentation.

- Knowledge of security best practices, RBAC, and enterprise operational controls.

- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience working in banking, financial services, or other regulated enterprise environments.

- Exposure to Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud platforms.

- Experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, Python, and Git-based workflows.

- Knowledge of application modernization, DevOps, and cloud platform engineering.

- Experience developing reusable implementation assets and onboarding frameworks.

Good to Have:

- Multi-cloud environment experience (Azure, AWS, GCP).

- Agile/Scrum experience.

- Exposure to enterprise application modernization initiatives.
