We are hiring a Technical Architect to design and scale a mission-critical, ultra-low latency stock broking platform built for massive scale and peak market volatility.

The role requires deep capital markets expertise and strong experience building high-throughput, deterministic real-time systems in regulated environments.

Key Responsibilities :

- Own end-to-end architecture of a high-performance trading platform.

- Design systems for ultra-low latency, high TPS, and predictable performance.

- Architect scalable, fault-tolerant distributed systems with zero-downtime principles.

- Drive active-active, multi-region architecture strategy and DR readiness.

- Lead performance benchmarking, tuning, and capacity planning.

- Establish architectural governance and engineering best practices.

- Collaborate with business, product, and compliance teams.

- Mentor senior engineers and lead architecture reviews.

Mandatory Experience :

- 15+ years in backend/distributed systems engineering.

- Proven experience building ultra-low latency, high-scale systems.

- Mandatory 3-5 years of experience in stock broking / trading platforms / capital markets.

- Experience handling mission-critical systems with strict SLAs.

- Exposure to high-volume, real-time transaction systems.

Domain Expertise (Must Have Broking Platforms) :

Strong hands-on understanding of :

Order & Execution :

- Complete order lifecycle in broking (validation/risk checks/routing/exchange acknowledgement/trade confirmation settlement).

- Ultra-low latency trade routing and deterministic execution flows.

- Order state management, reconciliation, and audit trails.

Market Data & Charting :

- Market feed ingestion (tick-by-tick data, LTP, depth).

- High-throughput feed processing and normalization.

- Real-time charting data pipelines and aggregation strategies.

Portfolio, Risk & P&L :

- Real-time portfolio tracking and position management.

- MTM and real-time P&L computation.

- Pre-trade and post-trade risk validation.

- Margin and exposure management logic.

Distributed Broking Architecture :

- Data movement across multiple services (OMS, RMS, portfolio, reporting, notifications).

- Event propagation and consistency in distributed trading systems.

- High-throughput inter-service communication patterns.

Tech Compliance & Governance :

- Understanding of broking technology compliance requirements.

- Data encryption (in-transit & at-rest).

- Secure key management practices.

- Data retention, archival, and backup strategies.

- Disaster recovery and audit-readiness considerations.

Technical Skills :

Core Engineering :

- Strong proficiency in Go (mandatory).

- Strong proficiency in Java (mandatory).

- Deep understanding of concurrency, distributed systems, and networking fundamentals.

Communication & Architecture :

- Hands-on experience with gRPC (public APIs and inter-service communication).

- Strong experience designing distributed architectures.

- Experience leading or contributing to large-scale architecture revamps.

- Strong understanding of data consistency models and service decomposition.

Event-Driven & Messaging :

- Experience building event-driven systems using Kafka.

- Expertise in asynchronous processing and high-throughput event pipelines.

Cloud & Infrastructure :

- Experience hosting services on AWS and/or GCP.

- Multi-AZ and multi-region deployment architecture.

- Active-active setup and high-throughput region design.

- Disaster Recovery (DR) architecture and RTO/RPO planning.

- Containerization and orchestration exposure preferred.
