Role Overview :

Moback is looking for a Cloud & Platform Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will play a key role in architecting and operating AWS-based platforms, ensuring reliability, performance, and security for business-critical applications.

This role involves working closely with engineering, DevOps, QA, and security teams to build robust cloud solutions while driving best practices in platform engineering, automation, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities :

Cloud & Platform Engineering :

- Architect, deploy, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS, utilizing services such as ECS/EKS, Lambda, RDS, S3, CloudWatch, and IAM.

- Design and implement highly available and fault-tolerant architectures using auto-scaling, load balancing, failover, and disaster recovery strategies.

- Build and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using modern tools to ensure repeatable and reliable deployments.

- Monitor system performance, availability, and cost optimization across cloud environments.

- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support automated application deployment and infrastructure provisioning.

- Implement security best practices, governance, and compliance standards relevant to HCM data (e.g., GDPR, SOC 2).

- Troubleshoot and resolve platform-related issues to ensure system reliability and uptime.

Leadership & Collaboration :

- Mentor and guide engineers across development, DevOps, and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) disciplines.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, QA, Security, and DevOps to deliver reliable and scalable solutions.

- Drive adoption of engineering best practices for reliability, scalability, and operational maturity.

- Contribute to defining platform standards, architecture patterns, and operational processes across the organization.

- Support incident management, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Strong experience with AWS cloud services, including ECS/EKS, Lambda, RDS, S3, CloudWatch, and IAM.

- Solid understanding of cloud architecture patterns, scalability, and high availability design.

- Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).

- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar).

- Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi.

- Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.).

- Strong understanding of security practices, identity management, and compliance frameworks.

- Experience troubleshooting distributed systems and production environments.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices.

- Knowledge of microservices architecture and event-driven systems.

- Experience working with HCM platforms or HR-related data systems.

- Familiarity with compliance standards such as GDPR, SOC 2, or ISO 27001.

- Experience optimizing cloud cost and resource utilization.

Experience :

- 8- 10 years of experience in cloud engineering, platform engineering, or DevOps roles.

- Proven experience designing and managing production-grade AWS infrastructure.

- Experience working in agile and collaborative engineering environments.
