Role Overview :

As a Senior Python Developer at MNK GCS, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable backend systems that power our financial applications. You will collaborate closely with product managers, front-end developers, and DevOps engineers to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet the evolving needs of our clients. Your expertise will be crucial in optimizing performance, ensuring data integrity, and implementing best practices for software development.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and develop high-performance, scalable, and reliable backend services using Python and Django for our financial applications.

- Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

- Write clean, well-documented, and testable code, adhering to industry best practices and coding standards.

- Optimize existing code for performance and scalability, ensuring efficient resource utilization.

- Integrate our applications with various third-party APIs and data sources, ensuring seamless data flow.

- Deploy and maintain applications on AWS cloud infrastructure, leveraging services like EC2, S3, and RDS.

- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal system performance.

- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to other developers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

- Mentor junior developers and share your expertise, contributing to the growth of the team.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated ability to design and develop complex backend systems using Python and Django.

- Proven experience in working with relational databases such as MySQL, including schema design, query optimization, and data modeling.

- Solid understanding of AWS cloud services, including EC2, S3, RDS, and Lambda, with the ability to deploy and manage applications in the cloud.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

- Ability to work on-site in Bangalore.
