Metadome.ai - Senior Backend Engineer - Microservices Architecture

We are looking for a security-conscious Senior Backend Engineer (SDE-2) to lead the development of our high-performance services while owning the integrity of our cloud infrastructure and compliance posture. At Metadome.ai, you won't just write code; you will architect resilient, compliant, and automated systems on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Your mission is to bridge the gap between high-scale Product Visualisation Tech and enterprise-grade security standards, ensuring our platform is as secure and compliant as it is immersive.

Key Responsibilities :

- High-Performance Services : Design and implement High-Performance Services/Microservices in GoLang, TypeScript & Python frameworks, implementing circuit breakers, retry mechanisms, and graceful degradation.

- Scalability : Design and implement horizontal and vertical scaling strategies for compute-intensive workloads.

- Security : Secure API Design with Security First and Scalable approach.

- Serverless : Able to design and implement Serverless designs and pipelines.

- Observability : Implement comprehensive monitoring and observability to the Backend and AI services.

- DevOps/GitOps : Manage multi-environment deployments with GitOps workflows.

- Disaster Recovery : Design disaster recovery and backup strategies across multiple regions.

- Cost Optimization : Implement cost optimization strategies for cloud resources.

- Incident Management : Implement a measurable Metrics based approach to Incidents and Alerts.

- Compliance : Bring in the Compliance Knowledge required for multiple Geos.

Requirements :

Required Skills and Experience :

- Experience : 4+ years of experience working with high performance teams with a proven track record of managing production-grade infrastructure on GCP.

- Language and Frameworks : Go (Gin/Echo/Fiber), Node.js (NestJS/ExpressJS), Python (FastAPI, LLMOps Libraries).

- Compliance : Practical experience implementing security controls for SOC2, ISO 27001, or GDPR within a cloud environment.

- Infrastructure : GCP (VMs, VPC, Cloud Armor, Load Balancing, Cloud Run).

- Database : SQL/NoSQL with optimization skills.

- Monitoring : New Relic, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, GCP Tracing.

- Architectural Thinking : Able to convert Ideas into implementable POC with right tradeoffs at the right stages of the product lifecycle.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Graph Databases : Experience with Neo4j or similar graph technologies.

- Security Tooling : Experience with Snyk, SonarQube, or GCP Security Command Center.

- Certifications : Professional Cloud Security Engineer (GCP) or similar security certifications.
