Role Overview :
As an MES Engineer at NSP, you will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and supporting cutting-edge Manufacturing Execution Systems, primarily leveraging PLEX MES. You will collaborate closely with our clients' manufacturing and IT teams, as well as internal project managers, to translate complex operational requirements into robust technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design and implement comprehensive PLEX MES solutions for manufacturing clients, ensuring alignment with operational requirements and strategic business objectives.
- Configure and customize PLEX MES modules to optimize production workflows, quality management, and data collection across various manufacturing processes.
- Integrate PLEX MES seamlessly with PLEX ERP and Rockwell automation systems, facilitating robust data exchange and end-to-end process visibility.
- Provide expert technical support and troubleshooting for MES applications, resolving production-critical issues efficiently to minimize operational downtime.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for MES configurations, system architecture, and operational procedures, ensuring knowledge transfer and future scalability.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including production, IT, and quality assurance, to gather requirements and deliver high-quality MES solutions.
- Conduct user training and provide ongoing guidance to manufacturing personnel, ensuring effective adoption and optimal utilization of MES functionalities.
Required Skillset :
- Demonstrated proficiency in implementing and supporting PLEX MES and PLEX ERP solutions, including module configuration, customization, and troubleshooting.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities to diagnose and resolve complex manufacturing system issues efficiently.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders across various client environments.
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
- A track record of 4-7 years of dedicated experience in MES implementation, support, and integration within a manufacturing context.
