- Implement reusable UI components, application services, data models, and integration interfaces.

- Maintain clean separation between UI, workflow/state management, hardware integration, data processing, and configuration layers.

- Manage Android dependencies, Gradle configuration, build variants, signing, packaging, and release configurations.

- Ensure compatibility with target wearable and hardware platforms.

- Develop applications suitable for constrained, kiosk-style, or enterprise-managed wearable environments.

Qualifications and Experience :

- Bachelor's / Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication, Software Engineering, Robotics, Mechatronics, or a related engineering discipline.

- 5 - 8 years of professional Android software development experience with production releases.

- Strong professional experience in Android development using Java/Kotlin.

- Proven experience developing complex multi-screen, workflow-driven Android applications.

- Strong experience with multi-module Android architecture.

- Strong knowledge of Android lifecycle, threading, memory management, and application performance.

- Hands-on experience with Camera2 API.

- Hands-on experience consuming JNI/native libraries within Android applications.

- Experience debugging native crashes and Android application integration issues.

- Experience deploying applications to physical Android devices and hardware.

- Experience with Gradle, Git, profiling, and Android Studio.

- Experience working with hardware or sensor-driven applications is preferred.

- Experience mentoring junior Android engineers is preferred.

- Experience in medical devices, navigation, robotics, computer vision, AR/VR/XR, or high-availability software will be an added advantage.

Skills and Competencies :

- Strong proficiency in Java and Kotlin.

- Experience with sensor-driven or hardware-key-based user interfaces.

- Experience with OpenCV Android integration is preferred.

- Experience with OpenGL or AR overlay rendering is preferred.

- Understanding of kiosk, home-launcher, device-owner, or enterprise-managed Android deployment patterns is preferred.

- Strong debugging and root-cause analysis capabilities.

- Strong attention to application stability, reliability, performance, and usability.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills.

- Ability to work effectively with software, hardware, computer vision, algorithms, QA, systems, and clinical teams.
