About the Role :

We are seeking an experienced and skilled QA-Automation & Manual Engineer to join our team. With 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in Automation and Manual testing, the ideal candidate will have a solid background in creating and executing automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Appium, or similar technologies. You will be responsible for overseeing the quality assurance processes and ensuring the seamless functionality and usability of our software products.

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Understand business requirements and product features thoroughly to effectively define and achieve quality goals.

- Execute manual tests to evaluate software usability, identify issues, errors, and bugs, and provide detailed reports to the development teams

- Analyze test results and report the impact of identified defects and usability concerns, collaborating closely with development teams to coordinate bug fixes and prevent the recurrence of issues.

- Foster effective communication between the QA team, development teams, and stakeholders, ensuring transparency in test findings and project progress.

- Manage test activities with a sense of urgency and accuracy, ensuring project timelines are met and the testing process aligns with project goals.

- Continuously improve testing processes, identify opportunities to enhance quality assurance procedures, and implement best practices in testing methodologies.

- Oversee the creation and maintenance of automated test scripts, ensuring the efficiency and reliability of automated testing procedures.

Skills and Requirements :

- Proficient in analytical and logical thinking, with a keen eye for detail. Knowledge of at least one programming language is needed, such as Java or Typescript/Javascript on the Playwright Framework.

- Excellent communication and articulation skills are essential, along with strong coordination abilities with team members and stakeholders.

- Experience working productively and efficiently in an agile development environment, understanding Agile methodologies and associated processes.

- Strong knowledge of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Familiarity with testing web applications, API testing, and working with databases.

- Strong understanding of Functional, Unit, Sanity, and Regression testing concepts.

- Familiarity with leading tools for requirement management, test case management, bug management, and version control
