Maveric Systems - Finastra Fusion Trade Application Developer - Java

Description :

- Design, develop, and implement Finastra Fusion Trade (TI / TI Plus) solutions for trade finance operations.

- Work on implementation and customization of Fusion Trade and Fusion Corporate Channels applications.

- Develop productlevel customizations using FTI SDK in accordance with bankspecific business requirements.

- Create, customize, and maintain FTI templates for trade transactions and channel integrations.

- Configure and enhance trade finance workflows including Letters of Credit, Collections, Guarantees, and Standby LCs.

- Support endtoend trade processing, including initiation, amendments, settlements, charges, and closures.

- Integrate Fusion Trade with Fusion Corporate Channels, core banking systems, and payment platforms.

- Develop and maintain interfaces and integrations using REST/SOAP web services and file-based messaging.

- Support SWIFT message generation, validation, and interface handling.

- Participate in system integration testing (SIT), UAT, production deployment, and postgolive support.

- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, ensuring adherence to SLAs and banking standards.

- Collaborate with business users, operations teams, and vendors to understand and translate trade finance requirements into technical solutions.

- Support version upgrades, patches, and migration projects (TI to TI Plus).

Technical Skills :

- Strong hands-on experience in Finastra Fusion Trade (TI / TI Plus).

- Expertise in FTI SDK development and trade product customization.

- Experience in FTI template creation and maintenance.

- Proficiency in Java / J2EE, Spring / Spring Boot.

- Strong knowledge of SQL / PLSQL (Oracle DB).

- Experience working in Linux / Unix environments.

- Knowledge of XML, XSD, JSON and message mapping

Trade Finance Domain Skills :

- Strong understanding of Trade Finance products :

1. Import & Export Letters of Credit

2. Collections

3. Guarantees / SBLC

- Knowledge of trade rules and standards :

i. UCP 600, URC 522, ISP98, ISBP

- Familiarity with SWIFT MT messages related to trade finance

Channels & Integration Skills :

- Experience working with Fusion Corporate Channels (Technical).

- Understanding of MakerChecker workflows, authorization, and role-based access.

- Experience integrating trade applications with :

1. Core Banking Systems

2. Payments systems

3. SWIFT interfaces

- Strong exposure to API-based and batch integrations.

Certifications (Mandatory / Preferred) :

- Finastra Certified Associate (FCA) :

1. Fusion Trade Channel Technical

2. Fusion Corporate Channels Technical

- FCA / FCI certification is a strong added advantage

Experience Requirements :

- 6 to 10 years of overall IT experience in Banking / Trade Finance.

- Minimum 3+ years hands-on experience in Finastra Fusion Trade (TI Plus).

- Experience with implementation, upgrades, and production support projects

- Experience : 6 - 10 years
