Role Overview :

We are looking for a hands-on Master Data Engineer with strong exposure to SAP ECC/S4 master data, data harmonization, and enterprise data integration.

The ideal candidate should have experience handling master data inconsistencies, standardization, profiling, SQL-based transformations, and ETL/ELT pipelines with exposure to modern cloud MDM ecosystems.

We are specifically looking for candidates who have :

- Strong SAP master data exposure (LFA1 / KNA1 / MARA level understanding).

- Worked on real master data issues not just ingestion support.

- Strong SQL + ETL/ELT experience.

- Understanding of data harmonization and golden record concepts.

- Strong ETL + SQL background with some SAP exposure.

- Good master data handling experience even without an MDM tool.

Key Responsibilities :

- Work with SAP ECC/S4 master data including Vendor, Customer, and Material/Product domains

- Investigate and resolve master data inconsistencies across systems

- Support data harmonization, mapping, standardization, and golden record initiatives

- Build and support SQL-based transformation logic and ETL/ELT pipelines

- Support batch/file-based ingestion pipelines using integration tools and custom jobs

- Perform data profiling, validation, deduplication, and survivorship analysis

- Collaborate with business stakeholders on reference/master data management initiatives

- Support enterprise analytics and downstream data consumption use cases

Must-Have Skills :

- Hands-on SAP ECC/S4 master data experience (LFA1 / KNA1 / MARA understanding)

- Experience handling data inconsistencies, harmonization, and mapping activities

- Strong SQL and Data Transformation experience

- Experience with ETL/ELT pipelines, IICS, custom batch jobs, SAP extracts, or flat-file ingestion

- Strong understanding of Data Profiling, Standardization Rules, and Deduplication

- Understanding of Golden Record and Master Data Harmonization concepts
