Role Overview :

As a Senior Software Engineer - Java at MARS Telecom Systems, you will be a key contributor to the design, development, and maintenance of our core telecom software platforms. You will collaborate closely with product managers, architects, and other engineers to deliver high-quality, scalable, and reliable solutions. Your work will directly impact the performance and efficiency of our clients' networks, enabling them to provide seamless communication services to millions of users. This role is based in Hyderabad.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and develop robust, scalable, and maintainable Java-based applications and microservices for our telecom platforms.

- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, implementation, testing, and deployment.

- Contribute to the architecture and design of new features and enhancements, ensuring alignment with overall system architecture and business goals.

- Write clean, well-documented, and testable code, adhering to coding standards and best practices.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal impact to customers.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate software components and ensure seamless system operation.

- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality and team performance.

- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes and tools.

- Deploy and manage applications on AWS cloud infrastructure.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in Java, J2EE, and Spring framework for building enterprise-grade applications.

- Proven ability to design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.

- Strong understanding of database technologies, including SQL and Hibernate.

- Experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS, including services like EC2, S3, and RDS.

- Solid understanding of web technologies, including Angular or ReactJS.

- Experience with Agile development methodologies and tools.

- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

- 6 - 8 years of relevant experience in software development.
