Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and execute advanced data science and AI research to solve ambiguous and high-impact problems.

- Apply AI, machine learning, and statistical modeling techniques to develop scalable, production-ready solutions.

- Lead experimentation on novel AI approaches, tools, and methodologies.

- Partner closely with product, engineering, analytics, and business teams to identify opportunities and translate business problems into AI solutions.

- Drive the identification, refinement, and deployment of AI models into production environments.

- Guide architectural and technical decisions with minimal oversight.

- Mentor and coach senior data scientists and AI engineers.

- Communicate insights, recommendations, and outcomes effectively to senior leadership and stakeholders.

- Stay current with emerging trends in AI, machine learning, and data science, and recommend adoption where appropriate.

Required Qualifications :

- Masters degree with 9+ years of relevant experience, or

- PhD with 6+ years of relevant experience in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.

- Extensive hands-on experience applying data science, machine learning, and AI techniques to real-world business problems.

- Proven ability to lead large-scale, complex AI initiatives end-to-end.

- Strong understanding of statistics, predictive modeling, machine learning algorithms, and experimental design.

- Experience deploying models into production and working with engineering teams.

- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders.

- Strong business acumen with the ability to align AI solutions to organizational goals.

Leadership & Independence :

- Leads and contributes individually to moderate to large-scale AI projects.

- Makes independent decisions on methodologies, tools, and execution plans.

- Typically reports to a Director or Senior Technical Leader.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Exposure to cloud-based AI platforms and MLOps practices.

- Experience working in regulated or large-scale enterprise environments.

- Strong presentation and executive communication skills.
