Role Overview :

We are looking for an experienced ABAP Consultant with 7 - 10 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development and enterprise application solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in ABAP programming, SAP development, performance optimization, integrations, and technical solution design.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, enhance, and maintain SAP applications using ABAP.

- Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into effective SAP technical solutions.

- Develop custom ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, and workflows.

- Work on RICEF objects including Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and related developments.

- Develop and optimize ABAP programs to meet performance, scalability, and business requirements.

- Work closely with SAP functional consultants to understand requirements and provide technical solutions.

- Develop and consume interfaces between SAP and external systems.

- Troubleshoot production issues and perform root-cause analysis.

- Conduct technical analysis and impact assessment for change requests and enhancements.

- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to SAP development standards.

- Prepare technical specifications and development documentation.

- Support testing, defect resolution, deployment, and post-production activities.

- Coordinate with cross-functional teams during implementation and enhancement projects.

- Provide technical guidance and support to junior ABAP developers where required.

Required Technical Skills :

- 7 - 10 years of experience in SAP ABAP development.

- Strong hands-on experience with ABAP programming.

- Strong knowledge of Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, and Forms.

- Experience with ABAP Objects and Object-Oriented Programming.

- Strong understanding of internal tables, modularization, debugging, performance tuning, and database access.

- Experience with SAP development tools and transport management.

- Strong SQL and database concepts.

- Experience in developing and consuming SAP interfaces.

- Good understanding of SAP integration concepts.

- Experience working with functional modules such as SD, MM, FI/CO, or other SAP modules is preferred.

- Good understanding of SAP development lifecycle and change-management processes.

Preferred Technical Skills :

- Experience with SAP S/4HANA.

- Knowledge of ABAP on HANA.

- Experience with CDS Views and AMDP.

- Exposure to SAP Fiori and OData services.

- Knowledge of BAPIs, BAdIs, RFCs, IDocs, and Web Services.

- Exposure to SAP Integration Suite or other integration technologies.

- Experience working on SAP implementation, migration, or transformation projects.

- Knowledge of modern SAP development practices.

Key Responsibilities in Support & Delivery :

- Provide technical support for SAP applications and resolve complex development issues.

- Analyze incidents and identify permanent solutions.

- Ensure timely delivery of enhancements and change requests.

- Coordinate with business and functional teams for issue resolution.

- Maintain high standards of code quality and technical documentation.

- Support releases, deployments, testing, and production stabilization.
