Key Responsibilities :

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand the CA GEN code's purpose and business logic.

- Analyze the migration from mainframe to x86 environment, identifying performance bottlenecks and discrepancies.

- Develop detailed test cases based on business requirements and functional expectations.

- Prepare and set up test data, ensuring data integrity and relevance for testing scenarios.

- Conduct performance testing and benchmarking in the x86 environment to identify issues and suggest improvements.

- Work with technical teams to fine-tune the migrated code for better performance.

- Document testing outcomes, performance metrics, and areas for optimization.

- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving performance-related issues during testing.

- Provide insights and recommendations on process improvements and best practices for migration validation.

Required Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.

- 8-10 years of Proven experience with CA GEN code, JAVA, mainframe systems, and migration to x86/Unix/Linux environments.

- Strong understanding of business processes and ability to translate business needs into test cases.

- Experience with performance testing, tuning, and benchmarking.

- Familiarity with test data setup, data dependencies, and data validation techniques.

- Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Shell, Python) for automation and data preparation.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

- Ability to work collaboratively across technical and business teams.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience in Insurance domain

- Knowledge of performance testing tools and monitoring solutions.

- Previous experience with large-scale system migrations.

- Proficiency in German is preferred.
