Job Description :

Looking for senior Mainframe developer with 7+ years of hands on experienced on COBOL Programming, JCL and DB2 Coding and processing, to deliver a critical project for one of our biggest clients in banking domain. The Individual should be passionate about technology, experienced in developing and managing cutting edge technology applications.

Responsibilities :

- Develop, test, and maintain high-performance mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, and CICS.

- Write and debug REXX scripts for automation and tooling.

- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

- Perform impact analysis, code reviews, and ensure adherence to best practices.

- Provide support for production issues and participate in on-call rotations.

- Work closely with QA, business analysts, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

- Prepare technical documentation and support system integration testing.

Requirements :

- Strong hands-on experience in COBOL, JCL,

- Familiarity with VSAM, DB2 and TSO/ISPF.

- Solid understanding of SDLC and mainframe batch and online processing.

- Experience with debugging tools such as Xpediter, Abend-AID, or File-AID.

- Ability to analyze and resolve complex technical problems efficiently.

- Exposure to mainframe modernization initiatives or tools (e. g., Micro Focus, API integrations).

- Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies.

- Knowledge of change management tools like Endevor or ChangeMan.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
