Role Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled Machine Learning Lead with deep expertise in image processing to spearhead our AI-driven initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in image classification, segmentation, and object detection, along with strong leadership experience in guiding high-performing teams.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead and mentor a team of machine learning engineers and researchers.

- Design, develop, and deploy advanced computer vision models for image classification, segmentation, and object detection.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Data Science) to translate business needs into ML solutions.

- Drive innovation in image processing pipelines, ensuring scalability and efficiency.

- Stay updated with cutting-edge research in deep learning, computer vision, and AI frameworks.

- Establish best practices for model development, evaluation, and deployment.

- Strong academic background from a top-tier institute (IIT/IISc/ISI or equivalent).

- 8 - 12+ years of experience in machine learning and computer vision, with at least 35 years in a leadership role.

- Hands-on expertise in image classification, segmentation, and object detection using deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras).

- Proficiency in Python and ML libraries (OpenCV, scikit-learn, NumPy, etc.).

- Experience in deploying ML models to production environments (cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP).

- Strong understanding of data preprocessing, augmentation, and annotation techniques for image datasets.

- Excellent communication and team management skills
