Role : Looker Developer

Responsible for building and maintaining Looker models, views, and dashboards to enable high-quality analytics and data driven decision making. Requires strong SQL, LookML, and data modeling expertise.

Roles & Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain Looker models, explores, and dashboards.

- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and performance across Looker assets.

- Translate business requirements into scalable Looker solutions.

- Write and optimize LookML for modeling, transformations, and metrics.

- Troubleshoot issues and improve dashboard/query performance.

- Maintain clear documentation for Looker projects and data logic.

- Support and train business users on Looker best practices.

- Stay current with Looker updates and contribute to datadriven product initiatives.

Requirements :

- 3+ years of experience as a Looker Developer in an analytics role.

- Strong SQL and data modeling skills.

- Hands on experience with LookML and Looker development.

- Experience with data visualization and dashboard tools.

- Strong analytical and problem solving abilities.

- Excellent communication and cross team collaboration skills.

- Ability to manage multiple projects independently.

- Experience with Agile methodologies is a plus.

Qualifications :

- University or advanced degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, or a related field

- 3+ years of total experience with BI Tools and SQL

- 3- 5 years of proven experience with Looker Core and LookML, including designing and implementing complex data models and dashboards.

- Experience with Git-based version control and deployment workflows

- Experience in Optimizing the performance of Looker queries, explores and dashboards.

- Proficiency in SQL and experience with data warehousing concepts. Familiarity with other BI tools or data visualization platforms is a plus.

- Experience with data integration and ETL processes.

- Strong understanding of data governance and security best practices

- Experience with at least one cloud data platforms (e.g., BigQuery, Redshift, Snowflake)

- Working in a collaborative environment and interacting effectively with technical and non-technical team members equally well. Good verbal and written communication skills.
