Locuz - Azure Administration - Cloud Infrastructure

Description :

We are looking for an experienced Azure Administrator to manage, monitor, and optimize our Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Azure administration, infrastructure automation, security, and performance optimization in enterprise environments.

You will be responsible for ensuring high availability, scalability, and security of cloud systems while supporting DevOps, security, and application teams.

Key Responsibilities :

Azure Infrastructure Management :

- Deploy, configure, and maintain Azure IaaS and PaaS services.

- Monitor system performance and ensure high availability.

Identity & Access Management :

- Manage Azure Active Directory (AAD).

- Configure RBAC policies and role-based access control.

- Implement MFA and conditional access policies.

Security & Compliance :

- Implement Azure security best practices.

- Monitor Azure Security Center and Defender.

- Manage firewall rules, NSGs, VPN gateways, and private endpoints.

- Ensure compliance with enterprise security standards.

Monitoring & Backup :

- Configure Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.

- Manage backup and disaster recovery using Azure Backup & ASR.

- Perform root cause analysis and incident resolution.

Automation & Scripting :

- Automate deployments using ARM templates / Bicep / Terraform.

- Use PowerShell or Azure CLI for administration tasks.

- Support CI/CD integrations where required.

Networking :

Configure and manage :

- Virtual Networks

- VPN / ExpressRoute

- Load Balancers

- Application Gateway

Cost Optimization :

- Monitor and optimize Azure resource usage.

- Provide cost analysis and recommend improvements.

Required Skills :

- 7 to 12 years of IT experience with 3+ years in Azure Administration

Strong hands-on experience in :

- Azure IaaS & PaaS

- Azure AD

- Azure Networking

- Azure Backup & DR

- Experience with PowerShell scripting

- Good understanding of cloud security concepts

- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines

- Experience with monitoring tools

Preferred Qualifications :

Azure certifications :

- AZ-104 (Azure Administrator)

- AZ-305 (Solutions Architect Preferred)

- Experience in enterprise or product-based organizations

- Exposure to hybrid cloud environments

- Knowledge of Kubernetes (AKS) is a plus

Soft Skills :

- Strong troubleshooting abilities

- Good stakeholder communication skills

- Ability to work in fast-paced environments
