Role Summary :

We are looking for an experienced Oracle EBS Functional Consultant to join our Application Managed Services (AMS) team in India. The role involves L2/L3 production support, functional enhancements, and continuous improvement of Oracle EBS Financials and Procurement modules for global business users across multiple regions and time zones.

Key Responsibilities :

AMS Support & Operations :

- Provide L2/L3 functional support for Oracle EBS across GL, AP, AR, FA, PA, CM, EbTax, and PO modules.

- Handle incident management, service requests, root cause analysis, and permanent fixes.

- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities across global entities.

- Ensure adherence to SLAs, KPIs, and ITIL-based AMS processes.

Global Business Support :

- Act as functional SME supporting users across North America, US, EMEA, Japan, and China.

- Work flexibly to overlap with global business hours as required on rotational shifts.

- Provide on-call support on holidays/weekends on rotational basis.

- Coordinate with regional business teams to resolve functional issues related to accounting, taxation, procure-to-pay, and cash management.

Enhancements & Continuous Improvement :

- Analyze change requests and provide impact analysis and solution options.

- Support minor enhancements, configuration changes, and process improvements.

- Prepare and maintain functional documentation, SOPs, and knowledge articles.

Cross-Functional Collaboration :

- Work closely with technical teams (RICEW) for issue resolution and enhancements.

- Support integrations with banking systems, tax engines, and third-party applications.

- Assist with data reconciliation, audits, and compliance activities.

Modules & Functional Expertise (Mandatory) :

- GL : General Ledger.

- AP : Accounts Payable.

- AR : Accounts Receivable.

- FA : Fixed Assets.

- PA : Projects Accounting.

- CM : Cash Management.

- EbTax.

- PO - Purchasing.

- Working experience with Oracle EBS R12.

Good to Have :

- Exposure to Oracle Trade Management (pricing, claims, accruals).

- Knowledge of Tax configurations for different Regions.

- Knowledge of packages like Pagero.

Skills & Competencies :

Functional Skills :

- Strong understanding of P2P and O2C business flows.

- Hands-on experience with Subledger Accounting (SLA).

- Ability to perform data analysis and reconciliation.

Technical Awareness :

- Understanding of RICEW components.

- Basic SQL for troubleshooting and validation.

- Familiarity with MOAC, AOL, security setups.

Soft Skills :

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

- Ability to work in 24x7 global AMS models.

- Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.

Education & Certification :

- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or related field.

- Oracle Financials certification - preferred.
