About the Role :

We are seeking an experienced SAS Administrator to join our team. The role involves installing, configuring, and managing SAS environments to ensure high availability, security, and performance. The SAS Admin will work closely with business users, developers, and infrastructure teams to support enterprise-wide analytics and reporting solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Install, configure, and maintain SAS environments (SAS 9.4, SAS Viya preferred).

- Manage user access, security, roles, and authentication within SAS platforms.

- Monitor system performance, conduct tuning, and troubleshoot issues.

- Perform patching, upgrades, and migration of SAS environments.

- Manage SAS metadata, libraries, and servers (metadata server, mid-tier, compute server, grid).

- Work with IT/infrastructure teams to manage backups, disaster recovery, and system health checks.

- Provide technical support to developers and business users, ensuring smooth project execution.

- Develop and maintain documentation for SAS architecture, processes, and configurations.

- Support integration of SAS with databases, LDAP/Active Directory, and third-party tools.

- Ensure compliance with data security, governance, and audit requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 58 years of proven experience as a SAS Administrator.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Strong knowledge of SAS 9.4 Administration, Metadata Management, and Security Administration.

- Hands-on experience with SAS Grid, SAS Management Console, and SAS Environment Manager.

- Proficiency in Linux/Unix and Windows environments.

- Strong skills in system performance monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting.

- Good understanding of databases (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, etc.).

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Nice to Have :

- Experience with SAS Viya administration.

- Knowledge of Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
