The Role :

We are looking for a Lead Shopify Developer who views Shopify not just as a tool, but as a platform for building complex, high-conversion engineering marvels. You will lead the development of sophisticated eCommerce experiences, ranging from high-fidelity Shopify Plus themes to cutting-edge Headless Storefronts.

Key Responsibilities :

- End-to-End Development : Lead the technical design and execution of high-traffic eCommerce stores on Shopify and Shopify Plus.

- Theme Engineering : Develop and maintain high-performance, custom themes using Shopify Liquid, ensuring mobile-first and SEO-optimized code.

- Headless Architecture : Architect modern storefronts using the Shopify Storefront API and decoupled frontends (Hydrogen/Next.js).

- Advanced Integrations : Build and manage custom Shopify Apps and private API integrations with ERPs, CRMs, and 3PL providers.

- Performance & Optimization : Conduct deep-dive performance audits, optimizing Core Web Vitals, conversion paths, and checkout experiences.

- Technical Mentorship : Review code, establish CI/CD workflows for Shopify themes, and mentor junior developers on best practices.

Technical Requirements :

- Shopify Core : 8+ years in web development with at least 5 years of mastery in Shopify Plus and Liquid.

- Frontend Stack : Expert-level proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript, with professional experience in React.js, Next.js, or

Vue.js.

- API Mastery : Deep experience with GraphQL and RESTful APIs, specifically the Shopify Admin and Storefront APIs.

- Modern Tooling : Familiarity with Slate, Theme Kit, or Shopify CLI, and version control (Git).

- E-commerce Strategy : Understanding of SEO, A/B testing methodologies, and conversion rate optimization (CRO).

Mandatory Skill Set :

- Primary : Shopify Liquid, Shopify Plus, Storefront API (GraphQL)

- Frontend : JavaScript/TypeScript, React.js / Next.js

- Backend Integration : Node.js (for custom apps), Webhooks, Private App development

- Performance : Core Web Vitals, Lighthouse optimization, Lazy loading strategies
