Lead React Native Developer (Contract - Remote)

Are you a seasoned mobile developer who loves building applications from scratch? We're looking for a Lead React Native Developer to spearhead the front-end development of a brand-new, cross-platform mobile app (iOS & Android) for a Student Wellness Check platform.

Key Role Details :

Role : Lead React Native Developer

Type : 5+ Month Contract

Location : Remote

Shift / Time Zone : EST Alignment (6:30 PM - 3:30 AM IST)

What You'll Do :

- Build and architect a greenfield cross-platform mobile app using React Native & TypeScript.

- Set up initial project scaffolding, CI/CD pipelines, and release workflows.

- Integrate enterprise authentication (Entra ID / OAuth / OIDC) and backend student data services (SIS / REST / GraphQL).

- Handle native module bridging for iOS (Swift) and Android (Kotlin) as needed.

What We're Looking For Experience :

- 5+ years in mobile development, with 3+ years focused on React Native (TypeScript).

- Core Tech Stack : React Navigation, Redux Toolkit or Zustand, and native module bridging.

- Testing & Release : Hands-on experience with Jest, React Native Testing Library, Detox, and tools like Fastlane, EAS, or App Center.

- Standards : Solid grasp of mobile accessibility guidelines and App Store / Play Store submission processes.

Nice-to-Haves :

- Experience with K-12 or Higher-Ed platforms and SIS integrations.

- Familiarity with offline-first data sync patterns.

- Proven track record setting architectural standards or mentoring developers on a fresh codebase.
