Position Summary :

The Power Platform Developer reports to the Project Manager, delivering services and solutions for clients as part of Power Platform team using the suite of Microsoft PowerApps, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, customer development and other data integrations on the platform.

Essential Job Functions :

- Create and manage applications in Canvas, with a focus on deep-linking concepts and responsive layouts.

- Develop and customize Model-Driven Apps to address complex business needs and provide rich user experiences.

- Implement and manage Dataverse to enable seamless data integration and management across apps.

- Utilize Power Automate to design and implement automated workflows that streamline processes and improve efficiency.

- Develop Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, and Power BI solutions to extend application capabilities and support data-driven decision-making.

- Assist in the development and optimization of DevOps pipelines for the migration of apps and solutions between environments.

- Apply best practices for Canvas app development, including performance optimization and user experience enhancements.

- Develop reusable custom components and integrate them into Power Apps and Power Pages for enhanced functionality.

- Integrate Power BI reports and dashboards into Canvas and Model-Driven Apps to provide insightful data visualizations.

- Develop Canvas apps with advanced functionalities such as paging, sorting, filtering, and integration with custom external data sources.

- Store and manage data in Power Pages using JSON format and ensure proper interpretation within Canvas apps.

- Design and develop end-to-end solutions that leverage Microsoft 365, Office 365, and SharePoint to enhance collaboration, productivity, and knowledge sharing.

- Perform unit and integration testing to ensure solutions meet requirements and adhere to agreed completion dates.

- Address and remediate security vulnerabilities within PowerApps to ensure secure application development and deployment.

- Collaborate directly with clients and project managers to support various projects and provide effective solutions.

- Estimate work content accurately and adhere to planned timelines for project deliverables.

- Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Abilities :

- Hands-on experience with Canvas Apps, Model-Driven Apps, Power Pages, and Dataverse.

- Proficient in implementing custom security and role-based access within Canvas and Model-Driven Apps.

- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve client challenges effectively.

- Experience with Power Automate for creating and managing automated workflows.

- Skilled in the installation and configuration of data gateways to facilitate seamless data integration.

- Ability to design and implement solutions that incorporate multiple data sources and integrate with Microsoft 365 and SharePoint.

- Experience with developing Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, and Power BI solutions.

- Competence in interpreting and designing database models to support application development.

- Capable of integrating Power BI reports and dashboards into PowerApps for comprehensive data analysis.

- Effective in estimating project tasks, managing timelines, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions.
