Role Overview :

We are seeking an experienced Lead MuleSoft Integration Engineer to design, build, and lead enterprise-grade integration solutions using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform. This role requires strong hands-on expertise in Mule ESB, API-led connectivity, and event-driven integrations, along with leadership skills to guide teams and collaborate with stakeholders across the organization.

You will play a key role in defining integration architecture, ensuring scalability, reliability, security, and performance across complex systems.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the design and implementation of enterprise integration solutions using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.

- Define and enforce API-led connectivity architecture (Experience, Process, and System APIs).

- Design RESTful and SOAP-based services to support business and technical requirements.

- Establish integration standards, reusable frameworks, and best practices.

- Develop, configure, and deploy Mule applications using Mule ESB.

- Build and manage integrations with Kafka (Confluent Kafka) for event-driven architectures.

- Integrate cloud and on-premise systems using MuleSoft connectors.

- Perform code reviews to ensure high-quality, maintainable, and secure integration solutions.

- Deploy and manage MuleSoft applications on AWS environments.

- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Mule applications using tools such as Tekton, Jenkins, and Kubernetes.

- Ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and scalability of integration platforms.

- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize Mule applications for performance and reliability.

- Implement API security using OAuth 2.0, JWT, and mutual TLS.

- Ensure adherence to API governance, versioning, and lifecycle management best practices.

- Manage logging, monitoring, and alerting using Anypoint Monitoring and third-party tools.

- Lead and mentor integration developers, providing technical guidance and career development support.

- Collaborate with architects, product owners, DevOps teams, and business stakeholders.

- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and estimations.

Required Skills & Qualifications :


Technical Skills :


- 9-15 years of experience in software or integration development.

- Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience designing and implementing integrations using MuleSoft.

- Strong expertise in Mule ESB, Anypoint Platform, DataWeave, and API Manager.

- Extensive experience with RESTful APIs and SOAP services.

- Strong hands-on experience with Confluent Kafka and event-driven integration patterns.

- Experience deploying and managing integrations on AWS, including hosting Kafka clusters.

- Proficiency in integration patterns, messaging systems, and enterprise middleware concepts.

- Experience with CI/CD tools (Tekton preferred) and container platforms like Kubernetes.
