Role Overview :

We are looking for an experienced MuleSoft Lead Developer to design, develop, and lead enterprise integration solutions using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform. The role involves API-led connectivity, integration architecture, secure API development, platform administration, deployment, and production support across hybrid and on-premises environments.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise integration solutions using MuleSoft Anypoint Studio.

- Design and implement API-led connectivity using Experience, Process, and System APIs.

- Develop RAML-based API specifications, reusable integration components, and scalable integration flows.

- Build Mule applications using DataWeave, connectors, transformations, error handling, exception strategies, and reusable frameworks.

- Develop secure integrations between MuleSoft and enterprise applications such as Salesforce, Oracle Fusion, databases, and other third-party systems.

- Manage and deploy APIs using Anypoint Platform, including API Manager, Exchange, and Runtime Manager.

- Implement and manage API security and governance policies including OAuth, client ID enforcement, rate limiting, throttling, and access controls.

- Ensure integration solutions comply with enterprise security, governance, performance, availability, and SLA requirements.

- Lead technical design discussions and provide guidance on MuleSoft architecture, integration patterns, and development standards.

- Conduct design and code reviews and mentor junior and mid-level MuleSoft developers.

- Support application deployment and release management across hybrid and on-premises environments.

- Work with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git, Azure DevOps, or equivalent tools.

- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize MuleSoft applications and integrations across development, test, and production environments.

- Perform root-cause analysis and drive resolution of complex integration and production issues.

- Collaborate with architects, business teams, application owners, and infrastructure teams to translate requirements into scalable integration solutions.

- Maintain technical documentation, API specifications, integration standards, and operational runbooks.

Required Skills & Experience :

- Experience in software/integration development, with strong hands-on experience in MuleSoft.

- Strong expertise in MuleSoft Anypoint Studio and Anypoint Platform.

- Hands-on experience with API-led connectivity and Experience, Process, and System API patterns.

- Strong experience with RAML, DataWeave, Mule flows, connectors, transformations, and error handling.

- Experience with API Manager, Anypoint Exchange, Runtime Manager, and API lifecycle management.

- Strong understanding of API security including OAuth, client credentials, rate limiting, throttling, and client ID enforcement.

- Hands-on experience integrating MuleSoft with Salesforce, Oracle Fusion, relational databases, and enterprise applications.

- Strong understanding of REST APIs, integration patterns, enterprise service architecture, and distributed systems.

- Experience deploying and managing MuleSoft applications in hybrid and on-premises environments.

- Experience with Jenkins, Git, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines.

- Strong production support, troubleshooting, performance optimization, and RCA experience.

- Experience conducting technical reviews and mentoring development teams.

- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, Agile practices, security, governance, and quality standards.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

- MuleSoft certifications such as MuleSoft Certified Developer or Integration Architect would be an advantage.
