Lead Java Developer - Spring Boot/Microservices Architecture

Description :

- Position : Lead Java Developer.

- Experience : 7 to 10 years.

- Location : Chennai (perungudi).

Skills :

- Overall relevant experience in Java development : approximately 711 years.

- Should ideally not have a break exceeding 3 months from their most recent engagement.

Core Technical Skills (Mandatory) :

- Java (7+ years preferred).

- Strong fundamentals and implementation experience.

- Hands-on exposure to Java 8, especially Stream API and functional programming concepts.

- Spring Boot (around 5+ years preferred).

- Microservices architecture (around 5+ years preferred).

- JUnit and unit testing best practices (around 7+ years preferred).

- Spring Data JPA (around 5+ years preferred).

- Strong query-writing skills (around 5+ years preferred).

- Experience with Hibernate Criteria Queries is a plus, but not mandatory.

- Experience with any major cloud platform (Azure / AWS / GCP) is an added advantage.

Leadership & Ownership (Mandatory) :

Candidates are expected to have prior lead-level experience, with responsibilities including :

- Ownership of assigned modules or components.

- Monitoring and tracking progress of team members.

- Mentoring and supporting junior developers.

- Conducting peer code reviews to ensure quality and standards.

- Client interaction, including requirement gathering and clarifications.

- Active participation in cross-module and stakeholder discussions.

- Hands-on coding experience is mandatory.

- Total hands-on coding experience : approximately 7+ years preferred.

- Should be currently involved in coding, not purely managerial
