What you'll do in the role :

- Designing and developing modern and modular applications using modern coding and testing standards.

- Participating in our agile ceremonies and actively driving towards the team's goals.

- Working independently using modern software development practices.

- Working collaboratively with a global team of technologists.

- Leading with ideas and innovation.

- Managing communication and partnering with our end users (MSIM Investment Teams) to design solutions.

What you'll bring to the role :

- Candidate should have 7+ years of experience.

- Experience developing enterprise Java applications.

- Solid experience designing and building enterprise grade services.

- Solid experience writing unit and integration tests.

- Solid experience working with relational database.

- Should be able to demonstrate clear understanding of OOPs in practice.

- Strong problem-solving skills and programming fundamentals.

- Willingness to work across full stack (including .Net apps, Javascript too).

- Experience working directly with end users.

- Strong understanding of financial markets and various financial instruments with a focus on Equities.

- Strong computer science fundamentals.

- Strong interpersonal skills and team spirit is required in addition to proficiency in verbal and written business communications.

- We support what we build individual will be responsible for post-production support on a rotation basis.

- Knowledge of buy-side trading systems (OMS, EMS), FIX protocol, QuickFIX/J, ZeroMQ would be helpful.

NOTE : Equity Market and Trading experience is a big plus.
