Job Overview :

We are looking for a highly skilled Lead Java Developer with strong expertise in Core Java and Spring Boot to join our development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend applications while leading a small team of developers. You will work closely with product managers, architects, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services using Core Java and Spring Boot.

- Lead the development team and provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.

- Develop and implement RESTful APIs and microservices-based architectures.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, QA teams, and DevOps engineers to deliver scalable solutions.

- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following industry best practices.

- Conduct code reviews, debugging, and performance tuning of applications.

- Participate in system design discussions and contribute to architecture decisions.

- Ensure application performance, scalability, and security.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in production and development environments.

- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 6+ years of hands-on experience with Core Java.

- 6+ years of experience working with Spring Boot framework.

- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and design patterns.

- Experience in building RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.

- Strong knowledge of Spring Framework components (Spring MVC, Spring Data, Spring Security).

- Experience with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.

- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.

- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and build tools such as Maven or Gradle.

- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) is a plus.

- Understanding of message brokers like Kafka or RabbitMQ is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience in leading development teams or mentoring developers.

- Familiarity with microservices architecture and distributed systems.

- Experience with unit testing frameworks such as JUnit or Mockito.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
