Lead Golang Developer

Role : Lead Go Lang Developer Backend / Microservices

About the Role :

We are seeking an experienced Lead Go Lang Developer to architect and deliver high-performance backend services and cloud-native microservices. This role demands strong technical leadership, deep hands-on development expertise, and the ability to guide engineering teams in building scalable, reliable, and secure distributed systems.

The ideal candidate is passionate about clean architecture, performance optimization, and modern DevOps practices, while also being an effective mentor and technical decision-maker.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and develop high-performance backend services using Go (Golang).

- Implement robust concurrency patterns and follow Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices.

- Architect, build, and deploy scalable microservices using Kubernetes and cloud platforms.

- Lead technical design discussions and establish best practices in architecture, coding, and DevOps.

- Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and mentor junior and mid-level developers.

- Collaborate closely with frontend teams (Angular/React) to define and integrate APIs.

- Optimize system performance, scalability, reliability, and security across distributed systems.

- Troubleshoot production issues and implement effective monitoring and logging strategies.

- Drive CI/CD implementation and improve deployment automation.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Strong hands-on experience in Go (Golang) development.

- Proven expertise in backend architecture and microservices design.

- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

- Deep understanding of concurrency, multithreading, and performance optimization.

- Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs.

- Strong knowledge of Docker, containerization, and CI/CD pipelines.

- Solid understanding of DevOps and cloud-native principles.

- Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to mentor and guide teams.

- Familiarity with Angular or React to ensure smooth frontend-backend collaboration.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with event-driven architectures.

- Hands-on experience with messaging systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.

- Familiarity with observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack.

- Knowledge of cloud-native security best practices.
