Lead Database Developer - MySQL

Position Summary :

We are seeking an experienced MySQL Database Developer with a strong development background to join the team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in MySQL database development, data modeling, and database migration projects.

Key Responsibilities :

Database Development & Design :

- Design, develop, and maintain MySQL database solutions

- Create and optimize complex MySQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers

- Develop robust data models and database schemas

- Ensure database performance, security, and reliability

Data Migration & Integration :

- Plan and execute database migration projects

- Migrate data between different database systems

- Ensure data integrity and consistency during migration processes

- Troubleshoot and resolve migration-related issues

Performance Optimization :

- Analyze and optimize database performance

- Implement indexing strategies and query optimization techniques

- Monitor database performance metrics and identify bottlenecks

- Recommend and implement database tuning solutions

Collaboration & Communication :

- Work closely with development teams, business analysts, and stakeholders

- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers

- Document database designs, procedures, and best practices

- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions

Must-Have Skills & Requirements :

Technical Expertise :

- Strong MySQL Development Experience : Minimum 8+ years of hands-on MySQL development

- Data Modeling : Extensive experience in designing logical and physical data models

- Query Development : Proficiency in writing complex MySQL queries, stored procedures, and functions

- Database Migration : Proven experience in database migration projects and data transformation

- Developer Background : Strong programming and development foundation
