SAP IBP Lead Consultant

Location : Remote

Notice Period : Immediate to 30 Days

Employment Type : Full-Time, Permanent

About the Role :

We are seeking an experienced SAP IBP Lead Consultant to lead end-to-end implementation and transformation projects for SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) solutions.


The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SAP Supply Chain Planning, extensive implementation experience, and the ability to work with global stakeholders in a remote and collaborative environment.


As an SAP IBP Lead Consultant, you will be responsible for leading implementation projects, gathering business requirements, designing scalable planning solutions, integrating SAP IBP with enterprise applications, and providing functional and technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle.


You will work closely with business users, solution architects, and cross-functional teams to deliver robust supply chain planning solutions that align with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities :

1. SAP IBP Implementation :

- Lead end-to-end SAP IBP implementation projects across all project phases, including requirement gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.

- Design and implement scalable SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) solutions aligned with business requirements.

- Configure and optimize SAP IBP modules to improve supply chain planning processes.

- Support implementation, enhancement, migration, and rollout projects for SAP Supply Chain Planning solutions.

2. Supply Chain Planning :

- Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP IBP solutions.

- Design planning processes covering demand planning, supply planning, inventory optimization, and sales & operations planning (S&OP).

- Recommend best practices to improve supply chain planning efficiency and operational performance.

- Support business process transformation initiatives within the supply chain domain.

3. Integration & Technical Consulting :

- Understand the technical architecture of SAP IBP and its integration with enterprise systems.

- Collaborate with technical teams to integrate SAP IBP with SAP ERP, SAP S/4HANA, APO, and other enterprise applications.

- Support data integration, interfaces, and system connectivity across the IT landscape.

- Work closely with developers and integration teams to ensure seamless data flow and solution performance.

4. Stakeholder Management :

- Collaborate with business users, project managers, solution architects, and global delivery teams.

- Facilitate workshops, gather business requirements, and provide functional recommendations.

- Act as a trusted advisor for clients throughout the implementation lifecycle.

- Provide regular project updates and communicate risks, dependencies, and mitigation plans.

5. Testing & Support :

- Prepare functional specifications, configuration documents, and solution documentation.

- Support System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and production deployments.

- Troubleshoot functional and integration issues and provide timely resolutions.

- Ensure smooth post-implementation support and continuous improvement.

6. Team Collaboration :

- Work effectively in remote and international project environments.

- Mentor junior consultants and share SAP IBP best practices.

- Contribute to solution accelerators, reusable assets, and knowledge management initiatives.

- Stay updated with the latest SAP IBP features and supply chain planning innovations.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

- 7 to 16 years of SAP implementation experience, including end-to-end SAP Supply Chain Planning projects.

- Hands-on experience implementing SAP IBP as an implementation consultant.

- Experience across all phases of SAP implementation, from requirements gathering through go-live and support.

- Good understanding of SAP IBP architecture and integration with enterprise systems.

- Prior experience with SAP APO is highly desirable.

- Experience working with remote and international teams.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.

- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.

- Structured working style with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
