Position Overview :

- We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Analytics Consultant (Data Science) to join our team in Bengaluru.

- The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in data science, analytics, and consulting, with expertise in Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) domain and marketing analytics.

- This role requires a blend of technical proficiency, analytical thinking, and the ability to provide actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop clear, concise, and actionable solutions to address client business needs.

- Work with large and complex data files to generate initial understanding and insights.

- Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends, build hypotheses, and inform models.

- Design and develop data models tailored to problem-specific requirements.

- Perform hands-on data analytics, model development, testing, and data preparation for visualization.

- Translate business challenges into verifiable hypotheses and build data-driven solutions.

- Collaborate with stakeholders (data engineers, BI specialists, offsite teams, and client teams) to gather requirements, share updates, and deliver insights.

- Provide thought leadership and consultative expertise across diverse analytics problems.

- Communicate findings effectively through reports, presentations, and discussions with clients.

Requirements & Qualifications :

- 4-7 years of experience in data science across multiple industries.

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Management, or related field.

- Strong domain expertise in Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG).

- Exposure to CPG marketing analytics (Trade - ATL/BTL, Digital, and Traditional).

- Proficiency in solving open-ended/unstructured business problems.

- Solid understanding of statistical methods and analytical techniques (Correlation, Regression, Hypothesis Testing, Basic Time Series Forecasting, etc.

- Expertise in SQL and hands-on Python programming.

- Strong data wrangling skills (Excel and Python basics a plus).

- Excellent analytical, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills.

- Adept at creating client-facing deliverables (reports, PowerPoint presentations).

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with proven client-facing experience.
