Role : Lead Analyst - Kenan Billing

Work location : Bangalore.

Job Duties and Responsibilities :

- Requirements Leadership : Direct the gathering and analysis of complex billing requirements for new product launches, API integrations, discounting schemes etc.

- Kenan or any other billing system Configuration : Oversee the functional setup of the Kenan product catalog, including the definition of price plans, tax rules, and charging.

- Legacy-to-Optima Migration : Lead the mapping and transformation of data from legacy platforms into the Kenan/Optima ecosystem to ensure seamless billing continuity.

- Database Mapping : Utilize deep knowledge of the Kenan database schema to perform gap analysis and data validation for downstream reporting and invoicing.

- Offshore Coordination : Act as the primary bridge between business stakeholders and designers to ensure technical delivery aligns with business expectations.

- Revenue Assurance : Implement controls and audits within the billing flow to identify, investigate, and resolve any instances of revenue leakage.

- Invoicing & Bill Run Management : Define the logic for daily and weekly bill runs, ensuring the accuracy of invoice generation and successful "Bill-to-Post" execution.

- SBA Gateway Performance : Monitor the Service Based Architecture (SBA) Gateway interactions to identify and troubleshoot latency or communication gaps between systems.

- Post-Production Support : Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for high-priority production incidents, performing root cause analysis on billing errors or system timeouts.

- Participates in the Invoice validations and publish the report to the management and stakeholders.

Skills and Requirements :

- Experience of 10 to 14 years in business analysis or similar role with minimum of 7 years in Amdocs Kenan or similar billing system

- Should be well versed with the Billing system configurations related to the different modules including Usage processing, Billing & Invoicing (BIP, BIF), Payments, and Journals

- Technical Tools : Proficiency in SQL for data querying and Unix for log analysis.

- Analytical and problem solving Skill : Ability to reconcile financial data between disparate systems

- Data Migration Expertise : Proven track record of mapping and migrating complex billing data from legacy systems to modern platforms.

- Advanced SQL Proficiency : Ability to write complex queries against the Kenan database schema to perform data validation, gap analysis, and troubleshooting.

- Strategic Requirement Analysis : Expert at translating vague commercial requests into precise technical specifications and Functional Design Documents (FDD).

- Offshore Team Leadership : Experience acting as a lead intermediary between local business stakeholders and offshore technical/testing teams.

- End-to-End Testing Management : Mastery of the Testing Lifecycle, including defining UAT success criteria and managing defects in tools like Jira or ALM.

- Communication & Stakeholder Management : Excellent verbal and written skills to present technical billing challenges to non-technical executive leadership.
