Key Responsibilities :
- Lead the end-to-end development of AI/ML solutions, from problem definition and data exploration to model deployment and monitoring.
- Architect scalable, reliable, and efficient AI systems aligned with business objectives.
- Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and engineering teams to deliver impactful AI-driven features.
- Oversee model training, validation, and optimization using state-of-the-art techniques.
- Ensure production readiness, including performance tuning, monitoring, and lifecycle management of models.
- Establish best practices for data handling, model versioning, experimentation, and reproducibility.
- Mentor and guide junior and mid-level engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI, machine learning, and related technologies, and evaluate their applicability.
- Work closely with data engineering teams to ensure robust data pipelines and infrastructure.
- Address ethical considerations, bias, and fairness in AI systems.
Required Qualifications :
- 7+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3+ years focused on AI/ML systems.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, and experience with ML frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar.
- Hands-on experience with machine learning algorithms, deep learning, NLP, or computer vision.
- Proven experience deploying models into production environments.
- Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and distributed computing.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and MLOps practices.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in managing or mentoring engineering teams.
Preferred Skills :
- Experience with large-scale data processing tools such as Spark or Hadoop.
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of API development and microservices architecture.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
