Description :

The L3 HCI Engineer provides advanced technical leadership for converged and hyperconverged platforms.

This role focuses on architecture, performance optimization, major incident resolution, and continuous improvement of infrastructure services.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead design, architecture, and deployment of VMware and Nutanix HCI platforms

- Own capacity planning, expansion, and new infrastructure deployments

- Ensure maximum uptime and performance of SAN and converged infrastructure

- Analyze monitoring data from storage, RecoverPoint, UCS, vCenter, and related platforms

- Recommend and implement changes to improve performance, security, and utilization

- Mitigate vulnerabilities across ESXi and vCenter environments

- Handle L2 and client escalations, ensuring timely resolution

- Perform advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis

- Plan and execute infrastructure upgrades, patches, and code updates

- Coordinate with OEM vendors for hardware replacement and advanced troubleshooting

- Plan changes, raise RFCs, and manage change implementations

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across HCI operations

- Collaborate with multiple technology teams and stakeholders

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Deep expertise in VMware vSphere (ESXi, vCenter) architecture

- Strong experience with Nutanix AHV and hyperconverged platforms

- In-depth knowledge of blade servers, SAN, and fabric interconnects

- Strong troubleshooting and performance optimization skills

- Experience in enterprise-scale virtualized data center environments

Certifications (Preferred) :

- VMware Certified Professional (VCP)

- VMware Certified Architect (VCA)

- VMware Certified Expert (VCDX)
