Role Overview :

As an SAP ABAP Consultant (L2), you will serve as a critical technical bridge between complex business requirements and robust SAP solutions. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance technical objects within SAP ECC and SAP HANA environments. Working closely with functional consultants, project managers, and key business stakeholders, you will ensure that custom developments align with organizational goals and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities :

- Architect and develop complex RICEF objects to address specific business process gaps, ensuring high-quality code delivery that meets stringent performance standards.

- Optimize existing SAP applications by leveraging advanced HANA-native features like CDS Views and AMDPs to significantly improve data retrieval speeds and system responsiveness for end-users.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate intricate functional specifications into technical designs, ensuring that all developments are scalable and maintainable.

- Conduct rigorous code reviews and unit testing to uphold technical integrity and minimize production defects, thereby ensuring uninterrupted business continuity.

- Provide expert-level troubleshooting and production support for critical SAP issues, resolving bottlenecks to maintain optimal system health and user satisfaction.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrate deep technical proficiency in SAP ABAP development, with a proven track record of managing complex RICEF objects within large-scale SAP ECC and SAP HANA implementations.

- Exhibit advanced capability in performance tuning through the effective use of CDS Views and AMDPs, ensuring modern, database-optimized coding practices.

- Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders and project teams.

- Maintain a high degree of professional maturity and self-motivation, capable of delivering high-quality results in a remote or distributed work environment across multiple locations.

- Hold a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, complemented by 6 to 10 years of hands-on experience in SAP technical development.

- Adapt seamlessly to evolving project requirements and demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning within the rapidly changing SAP ecosystem.
