Position : Network Support Engineer - L2

Job Description :

We are looking for a Network Support Engineer (L2) with hands-on experience in enterprise network environments. The candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting, configuring, and managing network infrastructure for a major client.

Key Responsibilities :

- Troubleshoot, configure, and manage firewalls such as FortiGate and Palo Alto.

- Handle configuration, management, and troubleshooting of Cisco Catalyst and Nexus series switches.

- Manage and troubleshoot Cisco WLAN Controllers.

- Support and troubleshoot IPSec VPN technologies, including DMVPN and FlexVPN (good to have).

- Ensure smooth operation and availability of the clients end-to-end network infrastructure.

- Provide L2-level support and coordinate with L3 teams when required.

Technical Skills Required :

- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals : OSI Model, TCP/IP

- Hands-on knowledge of DNS, DHCP, IP addressing, ARP, ICMP, TCP, UDP, SNMP

- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

- Experience handling enterprise or large-scale client networks.

Preferred Skills :

- Exposure to multiple VPN technologies

- Experience supporting critical client environments
