The OCI L2 Administrator handles advanced troubleshooting, operational stability, and service improvements. The role owns root cause analysis (RCA), implements standard changes, and supports L1 teams.
Key Responsibilities :
- Resolve L2/L3 escalated incidents and performance issues
- Deep troubleshooting across Compute, Storage, Network, and IAM
- Manage OCI networking (VCN peering, DRGs, routing, security rules)
- Implement changes (patching, scaling, backup configuration)
- Analyze monitoring s and optimize thresholds
- Perform RCA and problem management
- Support DR drills and backup validation
- Create and improve SOPs and runbooks
- Coordinate with Oracle Support for SRs
Mandatory Skills :
- IAM, OCI and Terraform
