L1/L2 Datacom Developer - Network Protocols

Role Overview

We are hiring a Datacom Developer with strong expertise in Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking protocols to develop high-performance networking solutions. This role focuses on routing, switching, QoS, and protocol-level development in C.

You will work on scalable and reliable networking software used in enterprise and service-provider environments.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and develop unicast and multicast routing solutions

- Implement and enhance L2/L3 networking protocols

- Work on VLAN, routing protocols, and QoS

- Optimize performance, scalability, and reliability of networking systems

- Debug protocol-level and system-level networking issues

- Collaborate with architecture and systems teams

Required Technical Skills :

- Strong exposure to Unicast & Multicast routing

- Hands-on knowledge of :

- VLAN

- RIP

- BGP

- OSPF

- Strong understanding of:

- Layer 2 switching concepts

- Quality of Service (QoS)

- Excellent C programming skills
