Kwalee - Quality Assurance Tester

Job Description :

- 2 - 4 years of professional experience as a Game Tester / QA Tester

- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail

- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal

- Ability to clearly and concisely document and explain issues

- A methodical, analytical, and scientific approach to testing

Technical Skills :

- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, including functional, regression, smoke, exploratory, and compatibility testing

- Hands-on experience with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, Bugzilla, Azure DevOps)

- Experience in writing and executing test cases, test plans, and test scenarios

- Knowledge of SDLC and STLC processes Understanding of client-server architecture, APIs, and basic networking concepts

- Familiarity with log analysis, crash reports, and debugging tools

- Basic understanding of performance testing concepts (FPS drops, memory leaks, load times, latency)

- Strong understanding of PC, Console, and Mobile platforms, including hardware configurations, OS versions, and device fragmentation Proficiency in spreadsheets, MS Office tools, and general PC & internet usage

Nice to Have (Updated Technical Depth) :

- Experience with automation testing tools or scripting (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Selenium, Playwright basic level)

- Familiarity with game engines such as Unity or Unreal Engine, including editor navigation and build testing

- Experience testing multiplayer / online games, including matchmaking, latency, and server stability

- Knowledge of console certification requirements (Sony TRCs, Microsoft XR, Nintendo Lotcheck)

- Experience with live-service games, patches, updates, DLCs, and hotfix validation

- Understanding of version control systems (Git, Perforce)

- Experience testing cross-platform and cross-play functionality

- Exposure to security, cheating, or exploit testing in games
