Associate Director, Enterprise AI and Product Strategy
Experience : 12-15 years Reports to : the CEO.
Function : Enterprise AI, Product, and Market Strategy.
About the role :
KPI Partners is building a portfolio of agentic AI products and AI-enabled data accelerators that run natively on Databricks, Snowflake, and Azure.
We are looking for a product leader who can own that portfolio end to end, from the first customer conversation to a release that engineering is proud to ship.
You will work directly with the CEO, sit between our clients, our architects, and our engineers, and decide which products we build, how they should behave, and how we explain them to the market.
What you will do :
- You will own the product vision, the roadmap, and the solution scope for our Enterprise AI offering across generative AI, agentic AI, and enterprise automation.
- You will manage a portfolio of agentic domain products that cover areas such as procurement, sales, finance, human resources, and supply chain, together with AI-enabled BI migration products that turn static dashboards into conversational analytics.
- You will define the retrieval requirements for our agents and work closely with our architects on hybrid designs that combine vector search, keyword search, and governed SQL access, so that every answer traces back to a trusted enterprise source.
- You will set the criteria for how work is routed across model providers, including how we balance task complexity, latency, and cost, and how the system behaves when a provider degrades.
- You will define how every agent is evaluated, including groundedness, accuracy benchmarks, and structured review with subject matter experts, and you will use those results to decide what ships and what returns to engineering.
- You will lead build-versus-buy and competitive assessments for new product categories, and you will present clear, defensible recommendations to the CEO and the leadership team.
- You will partner with the CEO on strategic initiatives, which includes shaping how the AI organization is structured and where we invest next.
- You will run solution demos, workshops, and proposal co-creation with enterprise clients, and you will turn what you learn from those conversations into sharper product requirements.
- You will lead briefings with industry analysts such as Gartner, Forrester, ISG, and Everest, and you will work with marketing on product messaging and positioning.
- You will coach and guide product managers and senior managers as the team grows, and you will help hire the people who join them.
What you bring :
- You bring about 12-15 years of experience in data, software, or AI, and those years were spent owning products rather than only supporting them.
- You have shipped enterprise-grade products for large clients, and you can describe a product you took from a blank page to a release, including the trade-offs you made along the way.
- You understand the modern data stack well enough to hold your own with architects, including Databricks, Snowflake, dbt, and the native data and AI services on the major clouds.
- You are comfortable with current AI patterns such as retrieval-augmented generation, multi-agent workflows, Model Context Protocol, text-to-SQL, model routing, and evaluation harnesses, and you can explain why one approach fits a problem better than another.
- You write precise requirements, you back your recommendations with evidence, and you are willing to tell leadership when an idea does not hold up.
- You communicate with equal confidence in a client workshop, an engineering design review, and a conversation with the CEO.
- You have a degree in engineering, technology, or a related field, and an MBA or an equivalent business qualification is a strong advantage.
What will set you apart :
- You have worked in a consulting or systems integration firm and understand how accelerators support pursuits, proposals, and delivery.
- You have experience working with industry analysts and with building competitive intelligence practice.
- You hold product certifications such as SAFe Product Manager, or you have patents or published work in applied AI.
- You have prior exposure to life sciences, insurance, retail, industrial, or consumer industries.
What success looks like in the first year :
- Within six months, you will have taken ownership of the product roadmap for our agentic domain products and set a clear evaluation standard that every agent must meet before release.
- Within nine months, you will have delivered at least one new product or major capability from requirement to release, working side by side with architects and engineers.
- Within twelve months, you will have built a repeatable product management practice, including intake, prioritization, and release gates, that the wider team follows without your direct involvement.
